Done for the anthropomorphic animal project for my Illustration class. Yeah, again. And I got polar bear AGAIN, wtf?

Yeah, so Cavorting Classical Musician Polar Bear. And he's playing the triangle, stealing the show and knocking all the other hardworking animals with more important instruments down. Mr. Giraffeson seems none to pleased. But he's having fun so lets just let it be.

Well now that I'm so much better with the tablet, I kinda feel that this redeems me for my somewhat underwhelming last entry to this project. Went all out with this one, revised and re-did so much, took me many many hours. You'd better like it.

... oh hey wait that armadillo is playing the tuba!?

*cackles* I like you you draw dillios.

Man, this one is waaaaaay more elaborate than last semesters. I'm kinda glad I didn't take Illustration, I'd be left behind by the rest of the class. x_X

Yeah there were some really good entries this semester. Hopefully Jim saved some so you can see them eventually. Singing Rocket Scientist Hippo was awesome. :p

Oh, soze this is where the lame icon came from!

I like how the armadillo plays the trombone as if it's tryin to overcompensate for something. lol

I really like the composition that you did here. There is a lot of nice balance with the characters and I like the palette. It feels half way between cut outs in a diorama and fully 3D piece and I feel that you should have gone one way or another because it would look awesome either way. If I remember right I know that you like to start your work out with a real soft brush so I might suggest that start using hard edge brushes and then soften it up later. You will get better results that way.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the tips, Tobias! I was mostly ad-libbing it throughout most of it, I actually did the armadillo and ostrich last(whom I think stand out most with that sort of 3D effect) and was going "whoa I should've done it like that with the whole piece". But I was out of time. :(

NP, I can understand the not having a enough time thing. I find though that I have sacrificed a lot to do my work. Things like movies, TV, video games, and sleep.
